If your remote server is hanging, cannot remote desktop via VNC on MAC OS X.
This way is a solution to restart a remote desktop agent and bring you to a remote server again.
Open terminal and SSH to destination server
sudo /System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/Resources/kickstart -restart -agent
